Instead of having such and attitude and telling someone to search or instead of lecturing them, you can help the user out just as easily. But that's the whole point of these forums - to help people that need help. A new person comes on and asks the same question that has been asked 20 times before.

I'm sure that they get a lot of the same requests with missing info or the same questions repeatedly, but that's the way these forums work. There are a few members that are extremely 'grumpy' all of the time! :-) I've noticed the same thing in my short time here. laingmanДon't worry - not everyone has such an 'attitude'. Unfortunately, it does not seem to be integrated with the boss controls, so there is no equalization possible and the music is extremely flat and almost un-listenable. Good news is that the primo music player interface is way better and less confusing than the one in the boss program. Yes I do have a backup of the primo folder.ДЄ little off topic, I finally figured out that for music player function in the primo program to work the music files have to be loaded on the same sd card as the maps. Thanks for the info I will give it a try. When all is well, you can delete that backup. That is: replace your files with the ones you downloaded.Д«etter safe than sorry: move your old files to your computer so in case of need there is a backup. If you find a working link (I don't provide one) copy the new files in the right place.

I am confused about the software not recognizing primo, I thought it is not recognizing the actual sd card device because that's what it says, no device connected.Дownload copy from where? Is there a legal way to acquire the maps that will work? The folder that I copied to backup says primo2 and I have had the radio since about 2012 or so. Man, I have been on forums before mostly helping and getting helped with discontinued phone and browser and I have to say that in all these years I have never seen a question answered with such attitude. Thus updating maps and map related files is a matter of download-copy-paste.

Naviextras not recognizing your Primo is a 99% chance of your Primo being a not OEM product, thus a cracked Primo.
